Quarter 1 Midway Check In

Week 7

13 to-dos: 10 completed 1 progress made 2 untouched

Officially half-way done with Quarter 1 and I wanted to do a check in. Also, now you get to see what my Quarter 1 list looks like:

Self Improvement:

  • Meal plan weekly – on track; so far done each week
  • Budget 6 times (each paycheck) – on track; 3 times done, rough start
  • Yoga 90 mins a week – 83% success; completed 4 weeks, partial completion 3 weeks
  • Walk 45 mins a week- on track; completed each week
  • 15 masterclasses – 6 classes completed; need to step up on

My self improvement goals have been going pretty well. Part of the driving force on continuing to work on them is the benefits I’ve noticed. With budgeting and meal planning we’ve been saving money as a family. The walking and yoga have helped me feel better physically. I do need to tackle more Master classes if I want to meet my 15 completed in Quarter 1 goal.

Beautiful Home:

  • Complete 3 items on chore chart a week: completed 6 weeks, partial completion 1 week
  • Be more consistent with laundry – needs work
  • Put away all clean laundry in less than 24 hours – 40% success
  • Get filing back up to date – on track, progress made but not completed
  • Add 3 year old to chore chart – Done 🙂

I’ve made progress with the beautiful home goals, but I still am struggling with them. I need to figure out more tricks to being successful with laundry. I look forward to having the filing done though!

Creative Pleasure:

  • Spend 1 hour a week on my book – 33% success; only one week completed 100%
  • Spend 1 hour a week on scrap-booking – 95% success – only one week not 100% completed
  • Start a blog – Done! You’re reading it!
  • Post weekly wrap ups for blog – done weekly
  • 6 new items in my Etsy shop – half way there – 3 items posted

I’ve been pretty consistent with scrap booking and also working on my blog. I need to prioritize time to work on my book. One thing I’m learning is I can’t wait to be inspired to work on it, I just need to make time for it and edit later.

There’s my mid-quarter report! Lots of successes, but still room to grow. The exciting thing for me is 7 weeks later, I’m still consistently working on each of my goals.
