Week 11
16 to-dos: 16 completed!
I’m really excited that I was able to complete all of my goals this week! It’s the first time this quarter and there are two big reasons for this success:
1. It’s the 11th week in the quarter, which means I’ve had 10 weeks of seeing what pitfalls there may be and also ways to succeed.
2. Half way through the week I realized I only had 2 and a half weeks left of quarter one. This helped kick me into gear.
The first reason circles back to the realization that failures or mistakes are actually lessons for success. It is important to treat your failure as a stepping stone rather than a trap to wallow in. Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of examples of me wallowing, but that’s not what led to this great week.
Some examples are:
- Procrastinating – this week I didn’t leave everything to the last day or two, instead I made sure to do a little bit every day.
- Not utilizing my accountability partners – I made sure to check in with Tonni, and Dane helped me keep up on my yoga goal.
Finally the second reason, realizing quarter one is almost done, also kicked me into high gear like realizing you have a big test the next day may make you study harder.
Now the trick will be to extend this success into the next week!
